Job Description - Project Contract Administrator - Ottawa

This position offers an excellent overview of residential subdivision construction. The successful candidate will be responsible to inspect, co-ordinate, and keep records of all day to day site activities. Additional duties will include estimating, tender preparation, payment review, grading review, earthworks analysis, etc.

Job Qualifications - Project Contract Administrator - Ottawa

  • Graduate Engineer or Engineering Technologist (eligible for license) specializing in subdivision construction and administration
  • 2 years related experience is preferred, however, new graduates will also be considered
  • Knowledgeable in, or prepared to learn;
    • Inspection of municipal servicing for residential projects
    • Estimating
    • Tender preparation and tendering
    • Contract administration
    • Grading approval and review
    • Payment certification
    • Construction law
    • Cost sharing calculations and analysis
    • Earthworks analysis
  • Excellent computer skills (Word and Excel)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized, efficient and effective project management skills
  • Accountable and proactive
  • Must have a car
